Dairy manufacturer Burra Foods had a strategic objective to create a product range that would add value to their ingredients, build brand equity for the group, and create a scalable business outside of the major supermarket chains.
Trampoline was conceived and developed by Richard Furphy as a distinctly local take on the Italian fresh ‘gelato’ tradition. With its iconic graphics and fitout design, and irreverent tone of voice, Trampoline became an immediate hit, with 7 stores built in quick succession
Each store churned ice cream on site, using a base supplied by the parent company, which made the concept scalable and franchisable without compromise to quality.
Trampoline has since been acquired by Franchised Food Company.
