Launched in December 2015, 8 months after the hepatitis outbreak linked to frozen imported berries, Matilda’s utilises the downgrade fruit from the family business, Sunnyridge who are the largest privately owned grower of berries in Australia.   

Real Dirt worked with the owners to develop the brand, factory infrastructure, systems, product offer, packaging, communications, promotions, and distribution strategy, resulting in sales to over 1000 independent stores nationally and 100 Coles stores within the first 12 months.
